Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, adding any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept debit card and credit card payment, though not currently directly via the website. We accept Visa Debit, Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards, as well as PayPal. We can also take payment over the phone. We advise you in the interests of security not to send your card details by email or fax. We also accept cheques supported by a valid cheque guarantee card.
Items ordered online using Actinic Payments are charged at point of order. If you order an item online that is out of stock you will have the option to place it on backorder or take a refund; we will contact you by email or phone accordingly. If you use the "call me for payment" method we will contact you for payment and advise at that time if all your ordered items are available for immediate delivery. Please do not send your card details by email, or by fax.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling A shipping charge is automatically added based on order value. However, delivery within Harpenden AL5 is free regardless of order value as this will be delivered directly to you by us; to gain the local delivery discount, just select "Local Delivery By Hand Within AL5" as the shipping type when checking out. Note that evening deliveries within the AL5 postal area are possible by arrangement, subject to availability. If you wish to collect your order from our shop, just select "Collect From Shop" as the shipping type. Highlands & offshore Islands are subject to additional charges - this includes post codes AB30-56, KW1-3, KW5-17, HS1-9, IV1-28, IV30-37, IV40-56, IV63, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH30-50, ZE1-3, IM.
